The scenery in North Western Spain is not quite as dramatic as the Pyrenees, but it is still pretty great. The coast is pretty as well, but I like mountains better.
A major area is the Picos de Europa National Park with a number of other smaller parks near by. The following photos are mostly from The Picos de Europa National Park, but some are from the other parks, and Spanish parks south of there.
You may notice the 9 foot tall snow poles. I guess they get real winter here.
